Love Drives All My Relationships

Welcome back to Elevation!

I relate to each person from a place of love. That characteristic drives all my actions and decisions regarding others. Love helps to make this world a better place. At work, I excel in a team environment because I am accepting of differing ways of doing things. Even though there is some personal distance between me and some of my co-workers, I still approach them with love each time we communicate. I am more accommodating of their points of view when I allow my heart to open my mind. When a total stranger offends me, I resist the instinct to overreact. I remind myself that something negative in their life is causing them to behave in that manner. I choose to take the high road because I act with love. My love allows me to listen without getting angry. It allows me to be silent when being verbally attacked. It reminds me that I have the opportunity to make things better. I sometimes get frustrated by the stresses of family life. My loved ones know I love them, but it is my responsibility to show it. Love helps me to be patient and willing to forgive. Today, I acknowledge it is sometimes difficult to love in all situations. But I commit to making it my way of life. Through love, I am committed to making others feel better about themselves. Self-Reflection Questions: 1. How can I show even more love to those in my life?

2. What can I do to mend any broken relationships from my past?

3. Why is it important to maintain a loving spirit as Christ commanded?
